About the Intercultural Christmas Market

Intercultural Christmas Market – Little Island is an event dedicated to cultural diversity, community and the spirit of the winter holidays, created to bring together people of different nationalities, cultures and traditions in a festive, open and welcoming setting.

Our Story

The story of the Intercultural Christmas Market began in 2023, when the event's organisers worked with representatives of several nationalities and communities to create a truly intercultural Christmas market in Little Island.

From its very first edition, the event was a remarkable success, bringing together around 100 vendors and showing the community's interest in an event where diversity, traditions and the Christmas atmosphere can be celebrated together.

The success of the 2023 edition, and the positive response from participants, vendors and the communities involved, encouraged the organisers to continue the initiative in the years that followed.

And so the Intercultural Christmas Market – Little Island continued in 2024 and 2025, growing year on year into an event that aims to build connections between communities and to offer a space where people of different backgrounds and traditions can meet and enjoy the magic of the season together.
